# Taxpress

> Dutch personal income-tax returns, in plain English, for people who live in the Netherlands. Add photos or files of your documents, answer only what’s missing, check every figure and approve before anything is sent. Guided self-filing from €49.99; accountant review from €149.99 (per person, per tax year, including VAT).

## Essential facts
- Taxpress helps people who live in the Netherlands prepare and file their Dutch personal income-tax return, in plain English.
- How it works: add photos or files of your annual statements (or type the numbers in); Taxpress reads them, fills in the return and asks only about what it could not find; you check every figure next to the document it came from, and nothing is sent until you approve.
- Guided self-filing costs from €49.99; accountant review costs from €149.99. Both prices are per person, per tax year, including VAT. The exact price depends on your situation and is shown before you pay; no hidden fees. A partner’s return is 50% off.
- Starting is free. You pay when your return is ready, after you have checked it and before it is sent to the tax office. If Taxpress cannot finish your return, you do not pay.
- Accountant reviews are done only by certified accountants who are allowed to prepare and file Dutch tax returns.
- Good fit: a job or pension in the Netherlands, the 30% ruling, moving to or from the Netherlands this year, renting or owning your home here, savings or shares and funds through a bank or investing app, filing alone or with a partner.
- Talk to Taxpress before starting if you freelance or run a business, have crypto, work abroad or own property abroad.
- Privacy: documents are saved in Ireland and read within the EU, used only for your return, never sold, and never used to train AI, including by providers. You never share your DigiD login; returns are sent through a registered filing service.
- Deadline for the 2026 tax year: 1 May 2027. You can ask the Dutch tax office (Belastingdienst) for an extension before the deadline.
- Taxpress is a paid service, independent of the Dutch tax office. Anyone can file directly with the Belastingdienst for free.
- Taxpress is run by Oba Labs B.V., registered in Amsterdam (KvK 98154710), Eerste Van Swindenstraat 373 A, 1093 GB Amsterdam, Netherlands.
